Shopee Solo Technopark
The Shope office building project located in Solo Technopark Mixed-Use Area: right in front of Sebelas Maret University.
Nat Associates was invited for a competition to design a new building in an empty space right next to existing Educational/Factory building which also need a new design. Natas (short for Nat Associates) propose to create a continuity between the existing and new building, bringing back local identity by modernizing the shape of Joglo: a javanese traditional house.

We tried modernizing the combination of Joglo House and pattern of Batik; a method of producing colored designs and patterns on textiles, and implement it on a laser cut ACP, creating an experience of gate below the main lobby canopy.
The main form of the building naturally shapes the interior experience. Creating the experience of office activity below the attic.
